South Korea 2023
I visited South Korea (Seoul) for the first time last September. I mostly enjoyed my stay and plan to visit again this year.
Things that I liked there:
- friendly people
- metro
- a lot of cultural sights
- warm weather with a pleasant humid continental climate
- people are not afraid to protest for their rights
- minimal police presence on the streets (although we did see some helicopters)
- not super expensive
However, I also encountered some issues:
- not so easy to find western food
- Google Maps didn’t function properly
- unpleasant smells in some streets
- navigation wasn’t always the best
